So Weezer has covered a great song by The Cars for Pixar’s Cars 2. (both parts are a big deal in my house right now). And it made me think of my favourite song by The Cars. For the record,…

Dear Darth Vader, I totally get that you wish you would have been a little more hands-on with the construction of the Death Star. Especially at the end. My guess is that you feel like if you didn’t take your…
For someone that died before I was born, I sure miss Groucho Marx a lot. I’ve watched Animal Crackers so many times. And Duck Soup too. And a handful of other that I’ve watched repeatedly. Each of them are amazing…
August long weekend. Always a lot of fun. Sometimes you have to fend for yourself though. I’ve been around for long enough that I’m not company anymore. And sometimes I get thirsty. For beer. So here’s a collection of tools…
Oh boy, I love this scene in Noah Baumbach’s newest film, Greenberg. I’ve watched the clip many times since I watched the movie and I’m struck by how nicely the scene is edited. The music first plays as part of…
I’m sure everyone who sees this video thinks about something different. I think a little about taking stuff for granted. I took a lot for granted yesterday, hopefully a little bit less today. The look on his little face makes…
How does watching a fella yell into his wallet sound? Awesome right? Because it is. Merlin Mann is one of my favourite people that I haven’t met. These are a series of videos called That Phone Guy that he did…
So I’m self-employed. Lately I’ve been thinking about two reasons that I really love being self-employed. Years ago, I worked in an office that had an Open House to show people the new building that we had moved to. So…

Sssshhhhhh. Don’t wake the lion. Srsly.
Wow. Thanks Sears. For a second there I thought it might be confusing figure out what the price would be. Well done.
The level of affection that I have for Goodfellas should be monitored by some sort of professional. I was thinking about the movie again the other day and one scene keeps floating to the top of my tiny brain. So the…
