I’m sure everyone who sees this video thinks about something different.
I think a little about taking stuff for granted. I took a lot for granted yesterday, hopefully a little bit less today.
The look on his little face makes me think about how many amazing moments happened today that I glazed over. Here’s a boy who can hear his mom’s voice for the first time. Ever. He can finally connect her mouth moving with a sound.
And as parent, she knows it too. Her son can hear her voice. Stunning.
It’s the most amazing thing. I watch it whenever I feel like I need to ground myself in what’s actually important in my life (aka often).
